What years were you a Ball Boy? 1961 and 1962 What courts did you look after, what age were you? The outside courts I can't remember the numbers Did you enjoy the task and why? Yes I used to enjoy getting away for the fortnight. Did anything unusual/funny happen whilst you were on court? Not that I can remember Which player did you most enjoy meeting and why?
Who is your favourite tennis player today? Andy Murray Do you play tennis now and if so do you belong to a club? No Would you like to add any further information? I arrived at Goldings in 1960. I was an apprentice printer till I was 18. I stayed in Verney hostel when Bob Newton was in charge. I did two years as ball boy on outer courts.
