Did you enjoy the task and why?

Yes I enjoyed it for the strangeness of the outside world: London streets (through a coach window) the crowds everywhere; the bustle, sunshine and excitement  all around the Wimbledon courts and the stars

Did anything unusual/funny happen whilst you were on court?

l liked being on centre court, the sun, the salad lunch we had every day (all the posh layout of the table for us) the activity and importance of getting and bouncing the balls correctly to the players.  When balls hit us (accidentally) usually focused attention on us, as ball boys),,

Which player did you most enjoy meeting and why?

Vic Sexias, Lew Hoad, Drobney, Sandra Reynolds ( had a juvenile crush on her - photos of my time there in Goldings/Barnardo Heritage Centre)

Do you play tennis now and if so do you belong to a club?

I Do not presently play tennis (not for five years now)

I admired Vic Sexias, strong silent type he didn't say much but played pretty well, he was suntanned and seemed powerful (a father image maybe for a orphan boy) the Williams sisters I like a lot
