Miss Hilda Noakes died on the 11th September 1950 while at Worthing. Sister Noakes retired in the Christmas of 1947after being in charge of the Sick Bay for seven years. Many Goldings boys will remember her kindness and gentle ways and feel the loss of a true friend. Recorded in the Goldonian Magazine of 1950 that Sister Noakes served for 9 nine years?
