Staffa was opened September 1945 providing a
home for boys. Then in November 1957 the status changed an became a home for girls with emotional difficulties.
The home finally closed February 1964. In about 1962 Janet Dunphk came to Staffa as Assistant Matron and stayed for about 12 months. |
