The Quinta School was opened by Dr. Barnardo's in 1941 as an intermediate school for boys with special needs. In the 70s it became an approved school run by Dr Barnardo's. The home closed December 1980. In 1985 the Quinta became a Christian Centre along with its associated buildings providing self-catering conference facilities. |
