Westwood opened September 1947 as a girls hostel. In 1948 girls transferred from Oxford and from 1955 children transferred from Yarmouth reception home. January 1958 changed from reception home to small mixed family home housing 12 children . Westwood closed August 1967 – children moved to Teichman House. |
