The Australasian Medical Unit, was transferred
in the late sixties to Ivy and Oxford Cottages which had been adapted into
the new Australasian Medical Unit. This building looked after 16 severely
handicapped babies and toddlers, the unit closed in 1975 when the children
were transferred to purpose built New Mossford. This building was later modernised in 1997 into The After Care dept that stands today. |
