Manor House was opened 1947. This was the
second Dr Barnardo's home opened in Ireland to cater for babies and young
children. In 1952 it became a home for children under six years. Manor
House Closed its doors March 1984. A reunion was held on Saturday 28th
July 1984 for children and staff who over the last 37 years The Manor
