Ian Tetley Memorial School, formally Hollins Hall was Opened 19th September 1943 for children of all ages. September 1947 moved to Lund Lane, Killinghall, Harrogate and called Bruce Porter Hospital Home School for boarders and day pupils. Became a residential school in 1965.

In 1975 it was reported a heated hydrotherapy pool and swimming pool constructed that will be used by other homes in the area.

Ian Tetley Memorial School finally closed in 1999 and the land was subsequently sold by Barnardo’s.
