5 - 6 Chelsea Villas  was opened in 1886 as a convalescent home for girls. In 1908 Chelsea Villas became a holiday home for children from London. In 1925 was re-named Harland House (re-opened August 1946). January 1958 Harland House became a reception home and a mixed home in 1960 with 14 places. Closed July 1981.
