Elizabeth Bishop House was opened October 1957 as Myton Gables, a home for girls of all ages. Later because it became a mixed home housing 16 children, Myton Gables was re-named Elizabeth Bishop House in September 1970 Dr Barnardo's finally closed the doors 1984.

I remember this photo being taken, I'm the lad on the far right, the others are left to right Simeon Sawyer, Nola Flynn and Theo Sawyer. The bikes had been donated by BSA. I recall I was asked to grab another bike by Uncle Les's ,the housemaster and to join the photo to make it look better. The photo was published in The Warwick Times. I believe this was taken around 1961 / 1962.
