Dane Court was opened October 1939. (Took over work of Bruce Porter Hospital Home). Re-evacuated September 1943 to Ian Tetley Memorial Home. Re-opened as a home for boys in 1947 then in September 1949 the children were moved to Great Yarmouth . Dane Court closed in March of 1951 and the Boys were moved to Garden City Woodford Bridge.
