The boys are back

The boys are back in 1998 Jack Johnstone seated as the old man of the group, Jack sent this photo in with the following info below: » click here if you would like to see them in the 50s.

I regret that I cannot name all the gang in this photo. I have recently suffered a slight stroke which has damaged my memory somewhat but I can tell you that I have been in touch with Tom and Bill Cotton, Johnnie Leach and John Hunt and have had Christmas greetings from them all, including Tod Hird.  Of course, I am the elderly gentleman sitting enthroned in the front as befits a one time Housemaster of Aberdeen house.  Regards.  Jack Johnstone.

I have it on good authority that the names are as follows left to right: Pat "Nigger" Ritches, Bill Cotton, Brian "Todd" Hurd, Tom Cotton, Len Harpin, John Hunt, Johnny Leach and not forgetting the old man sitting down Jack Johnstone.
