Well, I just Googled this site. I used to work at The Village in Syndal House. I was there at about 1978-80. I can only recall some of the members of staff there at that time. One lady was Mrs. Rench she was a cleaning lady and I remember Graham Oram who was a youth resident and a wonderful woman called Mary Wiggins. She was a real mother to the kids.

I wonder where they are all now, anyone know where Lorrqine Brown is...she always wore a black hat and loved ska music.

Oh well. all along time ago.

My name then was Liz Jones and I lived up in Barkingside by the pub with a tree in the middle of a grassy knoll..the Fairlop Oak.

Anyone know me?

I noticed that Liz Jones had posted a notice on the notice board under 1950-1969 and 1970-1989 and said that she remembered a Graham Oram, thats me!!  Apologies that I don't remember you Liz but it has been a long, long time and I was so young.  Have only just found this website (or rather my girlfriend did!!) feel free to get in touch
