Dear Webmaster Thanks for your Email I certainly don't think you should have to stand the costs of running the Goldings Web site, I certainly am pleased to contribute, and I hope others who use the site feel the same way. Perhaps it would be an idea to get some feed back from people at this years reunion to agree the source of future years running costs

An appeal to all the old boys who enjoy the goldonian.org website. I am sure that like me, many of you were unaware that a subscription of £79.95 per annum is payable to keep the goldonian.org website on line. Furthermore, you probably didn’t know that Frank Cooke has paid this subscription for the past two years out of his own pocket. I am amazed by the amount of time and effort that Frank puts into the site and to expect him to foot this bill is manifestly unfair. If you agree with these sentiments and can afford it, please make a donation of £5 or whatever you can spare. If we have enough people contributing we should cover the complete cost. If we get more than we need it can always be carried over to next year. Many of you have commented on what a great site it is, here is you chance to show your appreciation in a positive manner. Thank you in anticipation. Cheques should be made payable to Goldings Old Boys and sent to: Goldonian Website. C/o 27 Bedford Road, Letchworth Garden City, Herts. SG6 4DN.

Message for Eric Holden or Eric Fell-Holden (one and the same?) You are the only contributor to this site that appears to have been at Goldings the same time as me. I see you were at Wimbledon in 1954 on Centre Court, therefore you probably remember George Smith and Graham Ferris. I have never been very good at remembering names but I do remember faces. If you are on the 1954 Ball Boy's photo please let me know where you are positioned. Hopefully I shall remember you.

Good to read comments from contemporaries, especially 'miggy' ball. Interesting to learn about woody being branded a bully when he looked at his files. Have any other old boys had real shocks when they read theirs? I haven't bothered with mine, maybe I’m scared of what I’ll discover. Keep up the good work.

I had a voice on local radio. I think its called hoisted by your own petard I had requested a mention for the Goldings reunion and had arranged a member of the reunion committee to be the spokesman but in short they wanted me so on I go. I have a small mention about the website then wham I bring my Jewish life into the show and then its about me my perceptions of being in care .I don’t know if it’s reached any old Golding’s boys as the site rate has not gone up by much nor did I get any emails not one so I was totally hoisted. But we did get a link on the John Pilgrim out and about website that must be my Goldings cheek.
